Photography started for me during college. More than four years and 200 shoots later, I've kept my camera close, even while building a career outside photography. I keep coming back for the people I meet, the conversations, and the chance to make something worth remembering.
Most of my work has centered on individual portraits, fashion, and graduation photography. I'm now expanding into couples, families, editorial projects, and other kinds of sessions. I enjoy trying something new, but I always want the photographs to feel like the people in them.
New York City is home, though I've also spent time living abroad and traveling whenever I can. Away from photography, I enjoy playing the piano, boxing, writing, reading, and cooking. I like having different interests, and I think they make me a more curious person behind the camera.
My favorite shoots are the ones where the conversation starts flowing and people stop worrying about posing. Those are usually the moments that make the best photographs.
